What’s left of this year?
No negatives–too drear,
Wake up positive–grace,
Sun greets us, smiling face,
God is good, I say,
At faith, could get an ‘A’,
Thank you, Lord, for each day.
Sun did rise anyway,
Alternative worse, let’s pray,
For peaceful, slow news days,
Whatever happens, we can manage,
Food for thought, an adage,
May our prayers be good and strong,
Last part of the year, roll on!
